When I was student I learned Autocad in the version R14. Long time ago.
Now I work with the 2006 version.
The initial R14 version I do not have anymore, however I woud like to get te R14 again, just to remember the the old good times...
Anyone can advise how I can get the R14 version ?
Regards.
Mike

I used to hear nothing but bad things about R14. Or was it R13....
Believe me, I understand your desires. I currently use 2000 for design and drawings, but I use 14 for creating blocks. They can be joined into one unit and copied and pasted around like single parts. I have not figured out how to do that with 2000. Best of luck. Dennymac
Hi Mike:
Here a place that is advertising the R14.
http://softwarewebsales.com/product-11323/AutoCAD-R14
I do not have any reference to that supplier.
However, please, anyone may provide better information or feeback of the advertise.
Good look

John:
Thanks for your advise.
I will see what the site is advertising.
In this meantime, anyone have further information ??
Thanks
Mike
I don't understand the problem. If AutoDesk still owns the rights to R14 and you are willing to pay them for it then it should be a legal transaction. I don't want something for free. I just want something I can afford. Plus I am retired. I'm not in this for a job. I just need a reliable cad software to draw up plans for some home imporvements. I don't want any of these illegal copies you find all over the internet. I just want a legal copy from the legal owner, AutoDesk. Why is that so hard to understand?
You want to buy it, here it is:
