How to add "Remote text" value into a attribute value?

What I want is extracting the drawing number nested in an attribute to an external file. The drawing number shall be automaticcally defined by file name using "Remote Text".

I would either try the one of the Customization discussion groups or better
yet the Connectivity discussion group as it really sounds like you want to
link live data to a drawing.
