at my last job i modified romans.shx to include subscript,
superscript and size controls so you could generate any
fraction like this: [^NUMERATOR_/_DENOMINATOR^]
[ causes a reduction in size by a factor of 0.8
^ causes the text to shift up
_ causes the text to shift down
/ i redefined the slash so that it did not take up any space
_^ each shift down must be countered by a shift up
] the last character causes the size to go back to normal (1.25)
this also allowed Q_[10] to show correctly as "Q sub 10"
i dont recall the exact code changes to romans.shp but it
was not difficult. i've been thinking about doing it again here
the only drawback is having to distribute the modified
romans.shx with your drawings
