file => new drawing

I have a small problem and don't know if it's just me or what, but when I
click the new button or do to File, new to start a new drawing, everything
is in the command line, no dialog box for me to select my template file. My
filedia is set to 1. I'm running Map 5

I believe once you've been through the cycle once it should open that way
until changed.

Your welcome.
Just remember the next time you change to "start from scratch" it will start
to that setting until reset to "from Template".

Zach,

Try Setting CMDDIA to 1 as well.

Paul.
