I'm using AutoCad 2000i, and i have files on a thumb drive. The files work fine as does the program while the thumb drive is in, but once i remove the thumbdrive AutoCad will not open and the files won't open either. I feel your pain! I have AutoCAD 2002 and i get a similar error message. It will be working find but then the next time I try to open it i get this error message

I can't even open the program because it shuts down automatically as soon as i get this message. The only thing i have been able to do is to de-install the program and re-install it. It works for a few days and then i get it again.
