Error: Invalid Block name . . . must be recovered first.

I received this message while trying to insert a reference into a drawing. I tried auditing and recovering the drawing and the referenced drawing with no luck. I even purged both drawings to see if that would help.

Error: Invalid Block name, "REF-1" cannot be bound.
Xref "*M|REF-1" must be recovered first.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you don't already have a block called ref-1 in your DWG first.
