changing 3d polyline

I am having a problem and need some help. I am working on subdivision
layout. I am using contours for the site that were generated from an aerial
photo. However, something happened to the elevations of my contours.
Instead of them being say 7000 for my elevation, they are 14282.7650 or
something of the sort. After spending most of today manually going through
and picking each contour and changing the elevation to what it was supposed
to be, I am still having a problem. Now when I select a contour line, the
properties box shows the correct elevation for Vertex 1. However, the
vertices along the rest of the line still show the wrong elevation. Is
there a way to change the whole line? I thought changing this through the
properties box would work. Any help or suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

Hey Darryl;

Sounds like they are 3D polylines from your description of attempting to
revise them through the Properties box.

If they are all uniform elevation from one end vertex to the other end
vertex, you should be able to use a simple Move command to get them back to
the correct elevation. Hopefully you can use one differential on the whole
lot of them. Using your data:

7000 minus 14282.765 equals (7282.765), so your base point for the Move
would be 0,0,0 and the second point of displacement would be 0,0,-7282.765 -
or whatever you come up with.
