AutoCAD Disappears

I have a user whose AutoCAD disappears when he switches to another program (Excel, Outlook) and then tries to go back to the drawing he was working on. No window, nothing on the toolbar, but task manager shows it still running yet he can't access it. This is CAD 2000 on a W98se machine with 512 MB RAM. He must reboot then everything is hunky dory. Any ideas?

I don't know, I'll have him try. What does alt+tab do? Simply a shortcut?
