I am using an Arabic True Type Font (Ex. Arabic Transparent OR Traditional Arabic).Using both the TEXT or MTEXT commands makes the text appears properly in AutoCAD but after making a print out the text is printed in a backward direction. I tried different printers with different operating systems but still this problem appears.
Hint: This problem does not appear using the SHX fonts(Ex. Arab.shx or Xarab.shx)
Printer drivers handle and substitute TTF fonts, but ignore SHX fonts: start
by examining and changing the way your printer/plotter drivers are handling
fonts.
