I have created a folder "EXCEL_DOC" which contains tables in excel format...Table 1, Table 2...etc.
Now I open my drawing using autocad 2006........my aim is to associate or link the tables to my drawing
The following steps is taken:

Tool > dbconnect >right click 'DATA SOURCES'

You get a dialog box in datasource name I type "EXCEL_DOC"....I get another dialog box...Data Link Properties

Provider = OLE DB Provider for microsoft Directory Services
Connection= in data source I type ...Table 1
Test connection = Test connection succeeded
Then I click Ok
I suppose to see my Table 1 on screen ......but nothing happen!
I have surely missed important step here! Can some one guide me or show me the right step plz
your help would be much appreciated
Thanks
