Label Reloading

Has anyone ran across a program that will reload all the labels in all the
drawings in a file?

I have about 5,000 + prints in AutoCAD 2000 that I want to create a bill of
materials in from an access database, but I need a way to reload all the
labels WITHOUT opening the drawings, it would obvilously take way too long
to do it all manually.

Thanks in advance,

Nope, haven't seen such a thing ... and I doubt one exists, unless someone
did it for themselves and decide to make it available to others. There's
obviously no money in it.

Sorry for the dumb question but do you mean by reload label? Is this a softdesk
thing or something?

Paul,

When you want to display information from a database
into an AutoCAD 2K print, the objects are called labels.
Labels have to be manually reloaded, kinda like blocks.
You can't make a label like an xref, so you have to reload
them. I already have found someone to help me with this problem
(since I have thousands of prints) and he's writing the vba application
as I type.

If you have any questions, reply on this board or email:
