slice plugin

hey all


theres one option named SLICE in max i can do it my self with this modifier and i tried it too which is as below

but i dont want to do such... but i want to work something like below.... one of my friend did such but he didnt tell me what he did in max

I don't know of any plugin that will do that. It looks like the animator uses a combination of techniques: animated visibility, position, scale rotation, slice modifier, but the major technique they use is time.... dozens and dozens of individual effects which probably tooks weeks of work.

ive tried it..... but its making my object in to pieces.... and when its turning my object in to pieces its generating key but in the end when im trying to play its not working..... and im getting my object in pieces

deconstructor cuts an object into cubic pieces, while leaving the shape intact.
it uses a freely definable three-dimensional matrix in the world coordinate system (fixed axis).

its main purpose is to slice a solid object into pieces, that it can easily collapse in combination with a physics tool (like discreet reactor).

deconstructor is also a great tool to experiment with forms and to create death-star like sci-fi landscapes.
