Hi,

I'm normally over in the Inventor group, but I als provide
free ( no strings)  public FTP  to all the Autodesk newsgroups. See
below:

To post on this discussion group, the file must be zipped
and under 1.5 MB.

For larger files:

.

Read the instructions on the home page link. No limit on file
size.

Alias and other file types:

Upload your files ( preferably zipped) to the current month's folder. Name
your files.

Please notify in this thread when you have posted the files.

Inventor:

WHEN POSTING ASSEMBLY OR IDW/DWG FILES:

Make sure you include all part files along  with the assembly (.iam)
file. When posting IPN/IDW files, be sure to attach all related ipt and iam
files as well.

Please notify in this thread when you have posted the files. Be sure to
note the version of Inventor used.

Hi Don.

Yep, I wanted to upload a wire file 29Kb in size and when this did not work I zipped it and again I was not able to upload.
Finally I uploaded the file to my AS/400 which is connected and provided a link...

Thanks for your reply anyway!

Cheers!

Hi Dennis,

As I wanted to upload a wire file 29Kb in size and when this did not work I zipped it and again I was not able to upload.
Finally I uploaded the file to my AS/400 which is connected and provided a link...

Somehow this `work flow ` seems a little awkward me ...

Thanks for your reply and the link!

Cheers!
