Sketchbook "Edit Text Layer" dialog box forgets the text content of the layer

I am using Sketchbook Pro 2011 SP 1 on Windows. I am working at a sketch for a postcard with text layers. I save the file as either TIFF or PSD, exit the program and then start the program and reopen the sketch and edit any one of the text layers. The "Edit Text Layer" dialog box has forgotten the content of the text layer and I need to retype it all. That makes it impossible for me to use Sketchbook for designing the postcard with more one line of text. Anyone knows a workaround?
