Settings not retained between sessions

Here's a problem I've had for years: Some settings in Alias are not retained between sessions. When I close Alias, or when Alias crashes, I have to re-enter some settings when I launch the program again. Especially annoying is the Hardware Anti-Alias that is on by default, and some Draw Style settings I change after every launch. Also, settings inside tools go back to default, Freeform Blend for example.

I kept hoping this would be fixed with a new release, but I'm having the same problem in 2011 that I had in 2010. The only thing I thought to try was turning off the Read-Only status in the Pref files, thinking that Alias was unable save over them. But this didn't do it.

If you have a maintenance contract on Alias, you should post that question in the Autodesk subscription page under "Request Support" , I'm sure one of the specialist from Autodesk will solve that issue.

just to clarify, are you saving user options before a clean exit? preferences>user options > Save Options...

Directly inside Alias in the HELP menu is a option to "REPORT A PROBLEM..." this takes you directly to the web page. when you report a problem please be very specific to which options are not being saved.
