"Permanently" Attach CV's?

If I generate 4 curves with coincident CV's at the corners to create a square surface, is there any way to tell the end CV's of any two curves to stay connected?  I know I can select both CV's to move them together, but when trying to Move/Rotate one of the curves, I have to manually go re-attach the corner CV's.  Not a big deal if that's the workflow, just feels like I might be missing something obvious.

GROUP it.... do what you want. UNGROUP.

Thanks for the tip, but GROUP will not work with CV's.  I did use grouping when moving/rotating the whole "square" surface, but as I'm making edits (for example - twisting one edge relative to the others) the corners always fall apart.  No biggie, though - I can use the change-then-re-attach workflow.  I'm just used to Inventor where once I tell two points to be coincident, they stay that way until I tell them to let go!

Yeah, group is for what you mention.

Anyway, inventor and alias are different animals, as i am sure you know. Alias is a surfacer and inventor is not.

Forget all you learnt about inventor, when you are inside of alias, lol.

It is a joke, and is true too.

Good luck

So true! Inventor & Alias are similar right up until the end of the install process, then they diverge rapidly. 🙂

Real quick follow-up on this - I have found that the Align tool with G0 - Position does a nice job of persistently keeping the end of one CV or EP curve attached to the end of another.  Has simplified my life a lot!!
