Could some one give me some steps or give me the link to a tutorial for making diamons?

hi,

you could try using a polyhedron creation and modification tool such as robin webb's great stella or simiilar software to start from; it outputs obj files you can use to make a nurbs model from. many crystal shapes can be derived from the so-called johnson solids you'll find in all polyhedral software.
