Can anyone tell me if there's a way to take the boundary edge of a mesh (not a surface) and manipulate it (e.g scale or translate), and have the mesh remain connected to it?
I can extract the mesh boundary but it is then a seperate entity. I would like to select the mesh boundary (or parts of it) and extend it, pulling the mesh with it.
THis is easily done in something like blender but I don't seem to be able to do it in Alias (Automotive).

We have many tools in Palette>Dynamic Shape Modeling>... to manipulate all 3D entities.
And you can add some "deformer" for doing what you want or what you think...
