Is there any API / way to open a .wire file from "OpenAlias" plugin (C++ code)?

Hai,

       Is there any API / way to open a .wire file from "OpenAlias" plugin (C++ code)? What i intend to do here is, i need to open a .wire file from a known location and display it in "Alias Surface" application.

Hai,

    Found a solution to open alias .wire file from "OpenAlias" plugin using AlUniverse::retrieve(), but when the plugin tries to retrieve the wire file, Alias application itself getting crashed. Looking forward for a help on this.
