How to make a seashell in alias

Hi! 

I want to make a seashell in Alias, one that looks like the picture I attached. I dont know what they are called

but they look like unicorn horns, or the horns of Narwals, pointy long, spirals. 

Does anyone know how I can do this?

I haven't tried, but I imagine that you would first make a spiral that tapers like the shell tapers. You could then use the rail tool with a generation curve at each end that has that grooved look that the shell has. It seems it would require some playing around with the length of those generation curves.
