How to get Developed Surfaces ?

How do I generate a developed/unrolled surfaces in Alias ?

I have a simple 5 degree surface which i want to unfold .. something like a sheet metal part..

How can i do that in Alias ?

Hey sahilchopra,

I do not know option in Alias to unroll the surface but you can use Loacator tool to evaluate your curve lenght and rebuild the surface.

Yea there is always that way to do it, but rhino's one click operation is so much more easier.
