Difference between Square and Rail Surface

Hi Guys,

I would like to know the exact difference between Square and Rail tool

And their + & -.

Particulaly were to use these two tools.

In some Alias tutorials, i find people using rail in one place and square in the other place. I would like to know what is the reason to choose between sq and rl. we can use rail itself becoz both requires four corner (BI Rail).

then Y do we need square tool.

Thanks in advance for u r reply.

Thanks and Regard's

Here are some points:

- 'Rail' is used for constructing primary surfaces whereas 'Sqaure' is heavily used for creating transition surfaces or  patches.

- Some options of rail does not require curves to be connected but square does not allow any gap in connecting curves.

- Square holds continuity better that rail(Fixed boundry option).

Pl correct me if anything wrong here. Looking forward to more differences.
