Block attribute

Sorry, I just realized I opened this thread in a wrong group.

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to use one same attribute in one block on more places but I can't, because if I place the attributes in the block with the same tags, defaults and prompts when I put the block into the drawing it is always asking value for all of the attributes. Example if I want to use an equipmement's name like "G121" in the block of the equipment on five different places, I have to type in five times this text. How can I define the attribute that requires only one time to type in "G121"? (I'm using autocad 2009 LT)
