is an Wacom graphics tablet for sketching required, or no. So yes, have it to be a Wacom, or can it be an other brand

Well, a wacom tablet is the best tablet you can buy.....By miles.

Probably other tablets will work too.....

But really get yourself a wacom because they are worth every penny, and you ll have a tablet for MANYYY years.

Good luck and happy shopping

I have a intuous 4, and i love it.

Well, you think a mouse is good for sketching?

With a intuous 4 you have 2048 pressure sensitivity levels and is like drawing with a pen.

Try that with a mouse.

yes you're right, and what size? a M or L (A4 size)

I have the L size.

The sketching area is in height exactly the width of a A4 paper ****, and in width a little bit bigger than the height of an A4 ****. So, is basically the size of a landscape A4 paper ****.

I never use it for modelling. Just for painting and sketching.

By the way, whenever you are painting or sketching with the tablet, be it in photoshop, alias or sketchbook, dont use dual monitors at all. If you do, you ll get a significant decrease in performance.
