2 Questions - Education License

Hi There,

I've downloaded and installed Alias Design 2013 and have been going through some of the lessons via tutorials / youtube.

A couple thing I've found different.

1.

There are no "icons" above the cv curves.  There are no box over the first cv point.  And there are no "U" over the second point and no "x" over the remaining points of the CV

2.

I can't seem to find the Layer toolbar.  I've tried looking through everything.

3.

I can't seem to find any of the icons in the windows.  (ie: magnifying glass, camera icon, render camera) are all missing.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Check on the menus:

Object Display / CONTROL

Object Display / DRAW STYLE

Hi,

Thank you, I've tried this but its' not working.  Un/Re:installing didn't work either.

May have to register for a new installation package.

If someone has another solution, I will try it out.  I have a suspecting feeling I will have the same issue if I get a new installation kit since the process files are already in my system.  But I'll give it another go.

Should you have any other ideas, I would like to know.  Thanks.

Hi DR4MAcydal

What computer and OS are you using?

Here is something that may help you.

1 – Curves Control possibly hidden

a – Menu Bar > Preferences> Menu> Long Menus.

b – Object Display > Control > Display Control ON

2 – Layer Toolbar possibly hidden.

a - Menu Bar > Layers > Toggle Layers ON and Toggle Layers Bar ON

3 – Display Otions on Windows.

a - Menu Bar > Utilities > Tool Resets > General Preferences > Factory Resets and Apply Resets

If this solved your issue please mark this posting "Accept as Solution". Or if you like something that was said and it was helpful, Kudoskudos.PNG are appreciated. Thanks!!!! :smileyhappy:
