I had installed the 2024.1 version of the Alias. It did installed well until I tried to open the program.
The opening screen turned on, but on the stage of "Initializing Utilities...", it crashes.
I deleted and then tried installing again and again and the same thing happens.
Are there anyone who knows how to solve this problem?
Plus, I installed this program thanks to education access for university students.
We have had reports of Ryzen Processors (Laptop) with Radeon/Geforce Graphics crashing with Alias.
This is from another post:
Try the following.
Uninstall the ATI display driver completely and install the latest PRO driver from
https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-pro-win-22-q4
Hope it helps.
Ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for running Alias 2024. Office Ally Practice Mate Sometimes, software may not function properly if the system does not meet the necessary specifications.
Below is a list of tested graphics cards for Alias:

At this time, we have used Intel Processors for Geforce RTX 3xxx /4xxx series cards and it will run but technically not supported. At this time, based on other reports, AMD processors (laptops) with AMD/Geforce cards may be problematic.
@taek5333 have you tried to delete your Userpreferences?
You can find the folder:
C:\Users\*YourUserName*\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Alias
After you delete the folder try to start Alias.
If possible do a copy of that preference folder and share it with us. This way we can investigate the problem.
(Only if this is the cause of the crash)
