Going from NX to Alias

I am pretty much hard wired in the NX way of thinking how to model. I want to broaden my scope of modeling by learning the other CAD/surfacing software out there and I know that Alias is pretty popular among the Automotive Industry. I'm so used to making sketches that control bridge curves and splines in order to make complex surfaces so I'm curious to see how to do this in Alias. Can anyone point me in the right direction for basic tutorials regarding how Alias works and what tools it uses to create surfaces?
