Cutting object using a surface-need help

Hi there! I'm new to using Autodesk software, previously used Rhino. I'm interested in making a 3D-printable widebody kit for a scale model car, such as this Ferrari:

ferrari-458-italia-main-328f2c42326a5ad509317a648533bd43

And turning it into something like this:

458-lb-performance-08-side-m-660x439

I need to have the inside surface of the fenders sit flush with the side of the car, if you can see what I mean. Basically I need the inside surface of each fender to be identical with the side of the car. Is there a tool in Alias which I can use to copy a surface from an existing object and use it to cut out a section of another object, so that the body kit I want to make will sit flush with the side of the model car?

Not 100% sure if I follow, but:

  1. Use the Extend tool to pull the body side surface of the car down over the fender.
  2. Use the Intersect tool to create curve on surfaces on both surfaces.
  3. Use the Trim tool to trim away the excess pieces.

The above then assumes you overbuilt the fender surfaces, otherwise you have to extend them too.
