Hi, can you make some kind of labeling "layers"... I will give example... when I have GA drawings with assemblies labeled I usually add also bolt labeling to that drawing... but default settings for labeling is same as for assemblies that are already labeled... I would like label of bolts to be smaller font, maybe another colour... if I want that I must do it separatly for each label.... I can not do "select similiar" command becouse it will select all text on GA drawing... is there a way to select only labels on bolt? can you make it? Show More

Greetings developers, I suppose I am not the first to suggest this, and exporting the model in the STEP file is one great feature that AS lacks. Especially when you want to send a model to a third party, and you are not using AutoCAD Mechanical. For now, I see it isn't implemented in 2024 version. Bei Sonderteilen wäre es wünschenswert, dass eine Material-Vorauswahl ermöglicht wird - ähnlich wie z.B. für Träger, Belche, Gitterroste bereits anwendbar. Umsetzbar wäre dies z.B. indem die Sonderteile bei den Vorzugsgrößen im Management-Tool als eigene "Gruppe" ergänzt würden. Außerdem bereitet uns der Umstand, dass in den Advance Eigenschaften von Sonderteilen unter dem Reiter „Benennung“ nicht die Optionen zum Anhaken hinterlegt sind, welche Elemente bei der Positionierung verglichen werden sollen - wie z.B. bei Trägern - immer wieder Probleme. Hello Dev Team, many of our customers would like an addition to the grid dimensioning. It would be very nice if grids could be automatically dimensioned not only from axis to axis but also over the total length or from the first to the last axis via the drawing style. For Assembly drawing it is not always possible to fit all drawing on 1 sheet.  I would suggest AdS needs a robust solution to provide this function.  Current workarounds and Hacks are proving to be uneconomical. Show More

It would be very useful if automatic isometric 3D views could generate on assembly drawings. Having to adjust the UCS every time and generate the assembly drawings individually is not an option on bigger projects. It would be useful if it could automatically produce a 3D view without having to adjust the UCS. Show More

Improve the modelling interface and accuracy of unfolding twisted folded plates. At the present time we are having issues with being able to accurately model twisted folded plates due to the limitations in the advance steel dialog box. Unfolding the plates in the model does not match what is output in the DXF, we have to do a lot of manual work tidying up the DXF for fabrication. Show More

OK, this has been bugging me for years.   Checkered plate is NOT Grating, and therefore should not have a 'span' indicator on the 2D details.   Checkered plate often gets bent in a press brake, so allow us to do this!    At the moment I have to model checkered plates that are bent as folded plates, and sometimes this creates issues with left/right pieces and piece marks, which forces me to use checkered plate 'grating', which I can't bend. Get an AI chat bot into the software that can use our human words expressing what we want to change our detail styles to look like. Have each installation communicate with each other to share experience model. Eventually the bot would learn what we want to see our details look like and I would be much happier. The AI can also have access to my anchor database and correct all the Hilti to be up to date. I could ask it to size bar grate based on the span and load requirement. If it didn't have the data req'd. to make the decision it would go out and find it and calculate.   I basically want an AI chatbot built into AS that I can literally tell what to do. Imagine the possibilities!!    OK Rudy here's what I want.. Hello developers, It needs an additional default for the unfolding/wrap around of folded beams with circular cross section: Combination of largest outer and inner contour It would also make sense if all defaults for the unfolding/wrap around of plates or beams would get their own category in the defaults. Currently these defaults can be found in General and Drawing general. And it would also make sense if the descriptions of the defaults also stated which defaults are used for which objects (beams, plates, etc.). But it would be much more important if you could set how the unfolding should be done directly on folded plates and beams as well as on unfoldable beams. Regards Elias Show More

Currently, a view can be rotated in detail drawing only manually, after generating the detail. The request would be to have the option to set the view rotation directly in Drawing Style Manager, in the detail style definition.
