Hatch on drawings

Upon editing detail drawings I canot figure out how the hatch command works.

I canot get patterns just solid colors?

Hi

 

I think you need to export to AutoCAD and perform the command there

- Marque "Aceitar como Solução", caso tenha resolvido seu problema.


- Select "Accept as Solution", if it has soplved the problem.


- Clique em "Curtir" se a resposta ajudou.


- Click on "like" if the answer helped.

@jla-jtl use the search box for this forum, enter hatch and you will see many post about hatch. It is much tricky than reg autocad to use. maybe even buggy

@jla-jtl another thing is sometimes I see solid hatches because of the hatch scale. sometimes i have to set hatch scale to .01 or .001 or even .0001 to get it to work.

As far as the autocad hatch command and manually adding a hatch

 

When changing the scale of the hatch doesn't seem to work for you and you're still getting solid colors a technique that works for me everytime  to correct the sold color problem is to reset the origin of the hatch to a corner or snap point of the object.  You have to be able to highlight the hatch and then right click for the drop down and choose " set origin"  As long as you can select the hatch you can change the scale and set the origin.

 

This will fix your problem in 99% of the cases you'll see.
