Hello mark.martin.se,

The list is created using a template, that can be found in this location:

        c:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdvanceConcrete\2015\Support\Template\List\UK\

The one presented in your picture can be found in the folder "...\UK\Bars"

thank you Emy,...

...just tried to make a new file out of the original "Bar list + Weight" and renamed it to "Bar List + Weight - Custom" but it doesn't show up in the drop down menu?

Hello Mark.martin.se,

There are 2 locations for list templates.

You have the one indicated previously, from ProgramData, which contains the original templates.

Then you have a location with the User templates, which are the ones that appears in the drop down list in Advance Concrete (AC):

• C:\Users\[ current user ]\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AdvanceConcrete\2015\Support\Template\List\UK\Bars

You have to use this location for your new lists and modification.

There are two ways on modifying the lists.

1. If you want to modify columns width, arrangement ...: you can use the AutoCAD directly.

It is important to open the lists with pure AutoCAD, not with Advance Concrete.

2. If you want more than that (for example you want a new attribute), you have to use the List Generator application.

To open it:

• Windows Start --> All programs --> Autodesk --> Advance Concrete 2015 --> List Generator

After open it, you will find a new Ribbon --> List generator.

...I'd like to obtain something like this (or close enough).....

...do you have anything like it (maybe a similar sample) so I skip the hard work.....

1. Column...."bar position number"

2. Column...."bar shape with bending lengths in cm"

3. Column...."bar diameter in mm"

4. Column...."length of 1 bar"

5. Column...."number of bars"

6. Column...."total length" ("column 4" x "column 5")

Well, you cannot skip the work 🙂

I think you can start from this list:

• c:\Users\[ current user ]\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AdvanceConcrete\2015\Support\Template\List\Romania\Bars\Extras de Armare Detalii Bare.dwg

It looks similar to what you have shown, only the order of columns is not the same.

The name of columns and texts can be changed quickly.
