Revit model not opening

Hi,

I seem to be able to uploat revit models but I cant seem to open them to veiw. The message is "preparing for viewing" ready in few moments - but 15 minuite later still waiting?

Is this a common problem?

Hi Joe,

Thanks for posting your question. It can take longer depending on how many files are being uploaded and converted. It also depends on how complex the file is. So if it's a simple 2D file it can be faster, but if the file is a more complex and large 3D file it could take longer. Can you tell me what kind of drawing it is? for example is it 2D or 3D and how complex is it. Also if you can not view it in a couple hours let me know. Then we will want to have you share the file with us so that we can ask the team to take a look at it to see why it may not be working.

One last question, can you tell us what browser you are using? If this is a 3D file be sure to use Chrome or Firefox. Internet Explorer will not work with 3D models right now. We are working on that with Microsoft, but for now the best option is to use Chrome or Firefox.

Sometimes I have seen it help if you purge the model a few times and then re-upload it later.
