Edit Project Description

According to this article, we should be able to edit the description of a project. But I can't find this option either in Fusion 360 or in the web portal. I'm only able to change the name and the icon of the project. (Also, the project description seems to be visible only in Fusion 360 and not on autodesk360.com)

Is this option missing?

Hi,

I believe you might be trying to edit the project description in New UI. The article you mentioned below refers to editing project description in OLD UI. We dont have project description in New UI of A360. We only have Project Title and Purpose. And as of now you won't be able to edit the Project Purpose in New UI. It is in our backlog and we will keep you posted once we have this in place. Appreciate your patience.

Hi David,

Thanks for posting your followup question on this topic.  There is not Project Description in the A360 products, it was removed when we moved over to the new version.     If you have older projects from the old UI, there is no way to change those.

Thanks for posting a follow up question. There is no Project Description in the A360 Products at this time, so nothing to edit.   Can you share a screenshot of what you are looking to edit?

Hi. Is there a workaround to change the project description from an old file?
In our workflow, we need to run software that uses the project description (we can't change this), and it needs to be all lowercase.
We are having a problem where the software is throwing an error, because the project description for the fusion360 project we are processing has capitols, and we cannot find any way to change this.
