Can't sign in to Autodesk on Revit 2015, 3DS Max or AutoCAD 2014

Help...

for the past few days i have been trying to log into Autodesk from Revit AutoCAD and 3DSMax but i have been unable to do so. the program keeps giving me the same error message over and over again.

i have tried rebooting my system, checking for updates, reinstallng the softwares, checking my computer's time settings and checking my firewall settings. everything is working and nothing seems to be preventing the program from working.

please advise.

(if it helps, i'm using windows 8.1 operating system.)

Hi Tevin,

Are you able to sign into the WEB Site for any of these services? For example can you sign into the RaaS site, or the A360 Drive site?

https://rendering.360.autodesk.com/

http://360.autodesk.com

When I have seen this in the past it has been a firewall issue or the time or country code is set to some other place. For example if you are using a laptop and are traveling the time might be accurate, but the country code may be off. Once that is set it then works.

Have you updated your personal anti virus software and if so does it have a firewall built into it? If so make sure that the following ports and sites are not blocked.

Hope this helps and please let us know how this goes.

Hi,

Were you able to login to www.autodesk360.com using that account? This will help determining whether something in your credentials is not matching the records on our side or is is something specific to the product.

Please let me know and I'll be happy to work with you on solving it.

Thanks,

Ilai

Hi, I consistently can't sign in to Autodesk 360 be it through the application itself or Revit 2015. I have followed all the steps like the users above, and yes, I can access everything on www.autodesk360.com as well as the rendering companion website. I have the correct time and date, the correct country code applied, installed every program as Administrator, made exceptions in my firewall, turned off the firewall, and so forth. Unlike the users above, though, my error always reads as "No internet connection". I do not use a proxy. Thanks, Jordan

Hi Jordan,

Are you able to try this outside of your office and see if that works. Also is this issue only with Revit and signing into Rendering? If so, we may need to move your post to the Rendering forum. Last but not least has this ever worked for you?

Also check if your AntiVirus is also blocking access from inside of Revit.

Thanks for getting us the updates and let us know if this is only for Rendering in Revit.

Hi Bud, Thanks for responding. The issue is with signing into the Autodesk 360 executable itself. None of the applications can use the cloud services since they can't sign into A360, and it does not work from any location. My antivirus (Avast Antivirus Free!) does not provide firewall capabilities that I know of, and I installed A360 with the antivirus turned off. I've tried signing in to the service with my Antivirus turned off as well as my Windows Firewall to no avail. Cloud services for Revit 2015 have never worked for me on this system, but previous editions of Revit (2014, 2013, and 2012) have. Is there a log that I could be sending? Best, Jordan

Hi Jordan,

Can you explain to me what you mean by signing into Autodesk 360 executable? Are you referring to signing into A360 Drive from inside of Revit?

You mention an error "No internet connection". You may have an install related issue with Revit, have you checked the Revit forum to see if there are any know fixes for this? I took a look around and don't see this issue. A360 Drive is for sync and Revit does not use sync, so you may need to post in the Revit forum or the Rendering forum.

Revit Forum:
http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture/bd-p/133

Rendering Forum:
http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/a360-rendering-general/bd-p/2060

I am out of ideas on this side and the best bet would be to start with the Revit Forum to see if they can walk you through a re install to see if that will resolve this.

Thanks again for all the updates on this, it's a very strange error, and not what we typically see. It looks to be specific to Revit.

Hello Romina,

Your message is also posted to the Rendering Forum and they should be able to help you out with this question.

Take a look at this link in the Rendering forum as well.

Also be sure to check with the Revit Team to see if they support Revit 2013 on Windows 8, that could be related here.

Hope this helps get you pointed in the right direction for help.
