Autodesk 360 API

Is there a place to download the API for Autodesk 360?  We have been trying to find it and to no success.  We are looking to use it to view DWF files in our web based application.  Is there a better tool to use?  We need to script it to do certain routines while viewing the DWF file/.  Thanks.

We actually have an open BETA right now on the API for viewing. You can go to this location and request an access key for the BETA.

We need to have a client hosted solution that allows for maintaining the
drawings on the client server. Passing the drawings to the Autodesk site is
not an option. We need a product that works similarly to Design Review.



Is there another option like that which will work on all browsers or at
least IE, Chrome and Firefox?

Hi Evan

Thanks for the interest in our Viewing service API.  Currently the viewing service is used by Autodesk SaaS products and we are in beta for offering it as a cloud based web service to partners.  The Viewer is cloud based for both the service and data. 

The process is:

- get an API key that provides you secure access to our API and storage,

- upload your design file to our storage service,

- we translate that to a streaming format for the web viewer and provide you with a secure link to access the viewable files in your app. 

The files are secured by your API key and access token which changes ~every 15-30 mins. You can still keep your data for any other part of your process in local storage and just update the viewing storage when changes happen.

We currently have no plans to offer this an a self hosted solution.
