Prepare to reboot your PC after updating A360

Prepare to reboot your PC after updating A360.  Total BS.  Also when signing into Autodesk 360 prepare to restart the ADSK programme.  Bla Bla Bla just too much BS as usual. Smiley Sad

Hi Bruce,

I moved your message from the print and viewing thread on the A360 board to the A360 Drive board, it sounds like you are talking about the A360 Desktop Client for syncing items to the WEB. A reboot is required because system level files get updated and also files are in use. The way the Microsoft MSI installer works is it queues the files for replacement after reboot because they are in use. And that is why you see the reboot message. You can ignore the message but the program will not be fully functional. It's always good to re boot after installing updates or applications even if they do not request it. Files get deleted or put in the temp folder and a re boot helps clean up any leftovers from the updates.

Hope this helps and let us know if you have any more questions about A360 Drive.
