Personally I love the idea of Reactor, but setting scenes up always is quite a drag. Furthermore its structure is from the same age as nurbs. Havok has definitely evolved, so why not Reactor?
I would love autodesk for doing things like this:
* First setting the whole szene up with some realistic presets (standard cloth values etc.) could make the whole toolset way more practical.
* Extra Features like steerable vehicles with realistic physical values ( recording frames in realtime). (!!Big funfeature !!!)
* Implementing animation values shouldn't be a problem (not only wind)
* Realtime Modifikation of scene (Position Values) could be lovely to use as a "Drag and Drop" Modelling Technique.
* Recording of Animation in Preview Window
* Improved Display Properties with implemented Hardware Shading
* Biped connection (Steerable + Posable Figures ?)
* Value presets for different materials (Rubber, concrete, ...)
* Fluid (quite a feature, but would be lovely?!?)
* Walkthrough with collision detection ...
* Particle implemetation ...
Quite a wishlist, I know, but just dreaming ...
Last but not least I think that playing with your MaxScene in realtime is plain fun, and would definitely add to the attractiveness of any future update. Animation could be so much fun !!!
