AutoCAD can’t map properly. Whit cylindrical and spherical mapping does nothing. Whit a sophisticated 3d objects the map is not wrapted properly, it is total mess. The mapping in the “Materials
Editor” preview window is ok, but in the drawing is wrong. Is there any
solution for this problem?
The spherical mapping does this. On the left is the Materials Editor preview window and on the right is the render image.
The box mapping does this.
And if I have something complicated then the mess is perfect. This is a box mapping, because the other methods are not capable of wrapping the material around the surface.
