I'm trying to attach an image material using the "attach by layers" but for some reason, it show on the back but not the front where I want it to be. I tried the "bring it forward/backword command" but it doesn't work. Help please? my instructor wants me to attach the image materials by "attach by layers"

Even when I rotate it, it still flips to the back...

try holding down the control key when placing material on the face.

Does material mapping fix your problem?  You can still apply the material by layer. Just my 2 pennies. JH your response won't meet his instructors criteria.
