tool palette from a shared catalog

Hello

I have created a new tool palette. The tool palette takes the blocs from a drawing.

Now I want to connect this to a catalog, so it can refresh from there. I should be able to export the tool palette with a right click but I only have the possibility to rename, new palette or delete.

I guess that once I have managed to export the catalog I can then easily import the tool palette in my colleagues computer. Also if it links to the same catalog we should be able to easily refresh it.

We use Autocad 2012 with hsbCad.

Looking forward to have some instructions - please see picture attached

Hi

I haven't sorted it but somebody replied here

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Visual-LISP-AutoLISP-and-General/tool-palette-export/m-p/4364784

Also I had this reply from another support

Thank you for choosing Autodesk Support and we really apologize for the delay.

Did you tried to use the export Autodesk Architecture 2012 Settings option from the machine where these toolpalettes were created ? (Start > All Programs > Autodesk > AutoCAD Architecture 2012 > Migrate Custom Settings > Export AutoCAD Architecture 2012 Settings). Normally the Zip file created should not include the xpg files as explained into the link below:

http://exchange.autodesk.com/autocadarchitecture/enu/online-help/search#WS1a9193826455f5ff3d61611412...

However it would be preferable to make that steps before trying  what is mentioned in the link below, to see if it works also with Migrate Custom Settings commande.

http://exchange.autodesk.com/autocadarchitecture/enu/online-help/ARCHDESK/2012/ENU/pages/WS73099cc14...

Then if you are still in same situation, I recommend to check if restrictions or any rules could interrupt sharing files. Then you can also try in between a reparation of the product, in case there was something wrong with the toolpalette functionalities.

We can check this together through a remote session eventually if you have 15 minutes free, to understand better interaction between the catalog and the palettes you want to share and implement.

In addition here below additional threads on that topic :

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Best regards,

However I could not sort my issue out as my autocad has hsb Cad installed in so might require different type of support.

Hope the above is useful for you

Cheers

Vale
