stripmtext-v5-0 Lisp Routine

Hello

Could someone possibly show me, upload or even email stripmtext-v5-0 Lisp Routine,

I went to this website to download it http://cadabyss.wordpress.com/2010/01/04/stripmtext-v5-0/ and the link to the Lisp Routine seems to have disappeared or is broken

Thanks

Damen

Hi,

If you double click the routine file and open with notepad and scroll down, there is a a section called 'how to use'.

Cheers

Awesome routine, Devitg! I was given a Visio file that was saved into AutoCAD (not sure the process as I've never used Visio), but all the Mtext objects converted in as their own box, each one with the fonts and colors on override. With 1600+ mtext blocks, it saved who knows how much time (and did so in not even a second of wait)! Thanks for sharing this!

This is a great LISP. And the very imformative narrative provided in the .lsp was much appreciated.

Hello @ВeekeeCZ

YES on ACAD 2021, the solution is maybe LISPSYS = 0 !?

It was a remark of Gilles (gile) ...

Hi Guys!

So i have a bunch of Mtext boxes with a colour, which i want them to be "By Layer".

I never used an external command before. I loaded the command through appload and it is there. i prompt it. I say i want to remove format of colour. But nothing happens.. what am i missing in order to be able to chanhe ALL Mtext boxes to "By Layer" instead of a colour that is assigned to all of them?

Thanks,

Rui

I wrote the original version in 100% plain AutoLisp (between 2003 and 2005) before the team of Joe Burke and Steve Doman switched to using Regular Expressions.  I'm sure that my old version will remove color override formatting from all the mtexts you select, if you want it.  I called it UNFORMAT.  It's really not very big.

@john.uhden , Hi John, if you open the lisp at post 2 , it mention about your collaborations as follow

;;;; v3.0 05-26-2003 "The Uhden Unformat Version" Vlisp
;;;; Powered by the new Unformat parser function written by John Uhden,
;;;; which provided much better, faster, and more reliable format
;;;; removing than previous versions. Added support for dimensions
;;;; objects and introduced a new DCL allowing users to choose individual
;;;; formats and save defaults. sd

So it is the one you mention.
