import and leave dim style current with palette button?

It seems I got close with may previous post, but I cannot get a dimstyle to be imported, and left current with a palette
"command" button.
If you specify a command button to use a dimstyle, it imports it and uses it for that command, then resets the original
style current.
If you tell the button to use "current style", it does not import the dim style.

So the settings restoration the buttons are doing is working against me.
any simple solutions?
