customizing command macro in cui (using mtp command)

we have a few commands set up to get the middle of two points, one for endpoints, one for midpoints, one for center points, etc.

we recently upgraded from 2007 to 2011, and the command doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Here is what i have in the cui command macro:   mtp;endp \endp \

The first part runs fine, it asks for the first endpoint, but when i go to select the 2nd endpoint, it isn't asking for the endpoint of the line (like it did for the first point), i have to select endpoint of line manually then select the second point.

Any ideas why this isn't working?

Thanks in advance.

this is what I am getting in the command line....

"Command: l line Specify first point: nil
Specify first point: mtp
First point of mid: endp of Second point of mid: _endp of
Specify next point or [Undo]: endp of
No Endpoint found for specified point.
Point or option keyword required.
"

any ideas?
