Using FIELD in a macro for user to insert into a table

I want to automate the process of creating cutlists in tables.

I currently manually type a dimension measurement into a cell but I would much rather use a field to call the measurement property of a dimension while asking the user to select a dimension and a cell to place it in.

I have tried writing a macro to do this but hit a wall of button clicks when the dialog box runs for FIELD.

Is there a way to do this?

I am new to macros and have just started to explore .NET programming.

Any tips would be appreciated!
