Text DwgName XDATA

Hi friends,

I want to add some lisp command to "ACAD2013DOC.LSP" file that causes:

every time I opened a drawing, there are 3 text object in drawing that have an extra property should be match with

DwgName as content.

in other word, I have three text in one drawing and when I try to open this drawing, these 3 text should show DwgName in contents. two of these text without ".dwg" and third with ".dwg" suffix.

so I should add a lisp function in autocad's "ACAD2013DOC.LSP" file to run for every drawing that I open it.

does anybody has a solution?

Hi,

first: in the documentation you'll read that you should not modify the ACAD2013DOC.LSP, you should use the ACADDOC.LSP instead.

>> these 3 text should show DwgName in contents. two of these text without ".dwg" and third with ".dwg" suffix

Therefor you don't need a programm or tool, just use the FIELD-functionality (>>>details<<<).

[EDIT] see the waring about the ACAD<version>DOC.LSP >>>here<<< [/EDIT]
