Remove or recall a post

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a possibility to remove or recall a previous post as long as nobody replied yet, kind of how it's possible to do it in MS Outlook?

I just posted a Reply, then got into it, and in its upper right corner, picked the Options pull-down list. It has "Edit Reply" and "Delete" options at the top, which are not there if I am in someone else's message. I picked "Delete", was asked whether I really wanted to, confirmed that, and it went away.
