Registry changes between AutoCAD 2008 and 2010?

We are updating an application which pre-sets the location where AutoCAD looks for External References when the user types XATTACH to a project-specific location.

In ACA2008, this was stored in the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R17.1\ACAD-6001:409\Profiles\CurrentProfileName\Dialogs\XattachFileDialog\InitialDirectroy

We cannot locate where this is stored in ACD2010.

There is a new command "ATTACH" in ACD2010 which can be used to attach XREFs (among other file types).  However, most desigers use "XA", since it is much faster.

FYI: The original application was written in VBA for 2008 but has now been ported to .NET for 2010.  This should make no difference regarding the Registry.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank You for your reply.  Unfortunately, AutoCAD 2010 seems to be ignoring the Value Data that is stored in that key.  Is there another setting that affects this?
