Plotstamp Grayscale

I hope this has not been asked & answered somewhere, I could not find anything when I searched...

Any way to lighten a plotstamp? I am batch plotting drawings with a job number plotstamp, same location each drawing, and need it to be somewhat "see-through" in the event that it overlaps any geometry (though this should usually not be the case).

Tried setting CECOLOR and modifying grayscale and screening settings in my .ctb file, to no avail (saw mention of CECOLOR in this thread: http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1180738). Any other suggestions?

Really appreciate any help. Thanks.

Use rText and place the rText object in your Titleblock XREF on a layer set to the color you desire...

You can find TONS of rText references in the regular AutoCAD discussions
