Opening another drawing from a query or from Access '97

Hi, I have a location plan of an estate with numerous buildings and they are
referenced with building numbers. I have created a database with these
building numbers, the buildings' descriptions, and the paths/filenames to
other drawings for these buildings.

I have got as far as being able to link the outlines of all the buildings in
the drawing to the database. I can also query the database in Autocad 2000i
and find out what other drawings are available for a chosen building number.

I, now, need to be able to select another drawing title from a row in the
query
table and have it open the drawing for me. Is there a way of doing
this? I'd like to avoid using hyperlinks in the database.

Melvin Udall: Easy. I think of a man, and I take away reason and
accountability.
