Modify Double-Click Edit defaults

How do I change / add to the defaults for doubleclick editing? For example,
what would I do to modify the double-click default for an arc?

if you have express menu, go to EXPRESS - TOOLS - DOUBLE CLICK PROPERTIES

I don't have Express Tools, only plain AutoCAD or LDT. Now what?

What specifically would you like to modify... typically the Object Properties
Manager dialog box pops up.

(DCPROPS is available if you have Express Tools, volume 7 or higher)

DBLCLKEDIT on, DCPROPS off, PICKFIRST 1 = OPM will open
when double clicking on entities except text, text editor
will open, cannot close OPM with ESCAPE or CTRL+Z

DBLCLKEDIT off, DCPROPS on, PICKFIRST 0 or 1 = OPM will open
when double clicking on entities including text, text editor
will not open, OPM will close with ESCAPE or CTRL+Z

DBLCLKEDIT on, DCPROPS on, PICKFIRST 1 = OPM will open
when double clicking on entities including text, text editor
will also open, OPM will close with CTRL+Z

DBLCLKEDIT on, DCPROPS on, PICKFIRST 0 = OPM will open
when double clicking on entities including text, text editor
will not open, OPM will close with ESCAPE or CTRL+Z

(another nickel added to the till for Kent Elrod)

I'd like to add a double-click action for AEC COGO points. Double-click a
point and the edit points dialog box opens...
